The spin is smooth and should cause you hardly any problems at all, I know I have had spinning racks in that have stuck and refused to spin properly within months of purchase.
One thing which might have put some potential buyers off this item in the past, is the price, which was at one stage close to $60. And with other much more reasonable carousels available, it makes sense that this would miss out on some customers. This is no longer the case however, and at online retailers such as Amazon.com, we can see a reduction of $50 and more.
When we do compare it to other carousels however, we can clearly see a quality difference, while some of the other k-cup holders have been of a wired “tree” design, the solid compact design of the Keurig 5071 really shines through.
